3 Takeaways

1.  Find your supporters. My husband was the one who got me thinking about starting my business, otherwise, I don’t think I would have even explored this option. His support has been instrumental in my success (as usual).

2. Accountability is key. Whether it is being accountable to your why or your business partners, it makes a massive difference in your drive and dedication to your purpose. Meeting regularly to update each other on what we have accomplished and establishing action items before the end of each meeting keeps us moving forward, even if it feels like we are moving in molasses sometimes.

3.  Establish your big dream, but remember to establish reasonable expectations. What can you really accomplish and is it SMART – specific, measurable, attainable, relevant, and time-based? Building a business takes time.

Also, associated with this is going with the 80% solution concept…not waiting for perfection…you MUST keep moving. Accept your mistakes along the way, learn from them, and keep going.
